Hockey in a Dnd 3rd Ed. world
Ini = D10

------------
Important Ability: Dex (Ini, Save DC)
Wiz (Save DC)
Str (Save DC)
1. To do a save:
1.2
If the goalie have a better INI than the player shooting:
Save DC = 10 - ((Dex mod) + (Wiz mod)) + (Shooter total bonus)
1.3
If the goalie doesn't have a better ini he must first do a successful
Reflex save (DC 5 + (shooter ini - goalie ini)) or suffer a -5 to the
save DC.
1.4
Once the save is made, there is a chance for the goalie to keep the puck
(to control it). First throw a D10, this will give the % of chance he has
to control it. This is the "Keeping chance" in the following formula.
Keep DC = (Keeping chance * 2) + Dex Mod
Please note that at any time the goalie can simply try to rebound the puck
outside his immediate area.
This is the direction of the puck on a D6

You might look at the number 6 like a puck going over the glass.
One optional rule could be that the numbers moves depending which way the
goalie is facing. As you can see in the two example below.
If the goalie is facing up-right where 5-6 is over the glass

If the goalie is facing up-left where 1-6 is over the glass

If the DM choose to, he could inflict a penalty on a second shot to the goal
after a deflect that goes on the opposite side of the net (if the second shot
came from #1 after a deflect on the second example, where the goalie is facing
top-right) to the Save DC (maybe adding a reflex Save too ?).
